Have your say now – 2019 National Quality Framework Review
The National Quality Framework (NQF) provides a national approach to the regulation of the quality of education and care services across Australia.
It’s been five years since the last review of the NQF in 2014 – and it’s now time to check back in and see what areas of the NQF can still be improved, including the National Law and National Regulations.
This review aims to ensure that the NQF is current, fit-for-purpose and implemented through best practice regulation. Over a million children currently attend education and care services across Australia, and it’s important that the NQF operates in a way that ensures these children are safe and supported in their educational and developmental outcomes.
All feedback is valued and over the next two years there will be regular opportunities to find out more, provide feedback and get updates on options being considered by governments.
The current phase of the project seeks your views on the issues contained in the NQF Review Issues Paper. You can provide feedback by attending a consultation or by completing the online survey.
Consultations are currently underway across Australia throughout May and June and the online survey will close on 30 June 2019.
