Service and temporary closure information

This mapping tool displays the open/closed status of children’s education and care services approved under the Education and Care Services National Law across Australia.

It shows close to real time temporary closure information about services on ACECQA’s national registers based on notifications of temporary service closures made under Regulation 175(2)(b).

This tool also displays services approved under:

  • the Education and Care Services Act (2013) in Queensland.

You can filter service data by name, state/territory, and closure reason, and count groups of services within a defined radius by zooming in or out of a location on the map.

If you require exact service numbers filtered by state and territory borders for services managed under the Education and Care Services National Law  we recommend the national registers, which are updated once daily. For information about services regulated under state or territory-based legislation, please contact the relevant regulatory authority.

In some cases, education and care services provide remote education options while their premises are temporarily closed. Please contact your service directly for more information.
