Senior Officer Program Delivery

We provide national leadership on the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and collaborate with the Australian and state and territory governments.

We strive for innovation and continuous improvement and are committed to keeping the sector and the community informed with the latest developments in early childhood education and care.

We are looking for a Senior Officer to join our Quality Support Program team, providing support to early childhood service providers participating in the program. Support is provided through mentoring, the development of resources and training materials as well as delivering presentations to those services that are working towards the National Quality Standard.

Full position description

This opportunity is located in Sydney and is full time for a fixed term till 26 June 2020 at ACECQA Band 5 ($83,933 – $102,274).

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience in the delivery and/or development of resources, training and/or other services for quality improvement in education and care programs and services
  2. Demonstrated ability to negotiate confidently with internal and external stakeholders and proven capacity to communicate persuasively
  3. Demonstrated ability to use a range of technology and learn new systems quickly
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of the children’s education and care sector quality practices and programs, including an understanding of contemporary practice,  and demonstrated familiarity with the NQF including related legislation, learning frameworks and sector resources

Highly Desirable:

  1. Qualifications and experience in children’s education and care and/or adult learning.
  2. Knowledge of, or experience in, regulatory processes or government decision making.

System and Network Administrator

We are looking for a System and Network Administrator to join our ICT team, providing ICT administration and network support to ACECQA. The successful candidate will have experience administering a hybrid cloud and hosted environment and with ICT security.   1. Minimum of three years’ experience administering a hybrid cloud and hosted environment.
  2. IT background and tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  3. Excellent customer service, communication skills including maintaining systems documentation.
  4. Experience complying with ICT security best practice.
  5. Proven troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.

Highly desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  1. Professional certifications related to the technologies in use at ACECQA
  2. Web and CMS administration skills including Drupal and IIS
  3. SalesForce.com administration and development skills
  4. SharePoint administration skills and experience
  5. Apple Mac and iOS device administration, management and deployment
